Místo realizace: ZS ChebZimní stadion byl postaven v roce 1977 v místě bývalé rokle v ulici Valdštejnova 70. Původní stavba měla pouze velkou a malou plochu, která se rozprostírala pod širým nebem. S rostoucím počtem zájemců o hokej a vznikem nových sportovních oddílů se původní stavba zimního stadionu stala nevyhovující. V roce 2002 byl tedy celý zimní stadion zrekonstruován. Došlo k zastřešení velké ledové plochy a k výstavbě rozsáhlého zázemí pro veřejnost, sportovce, sportovní oddíly a pro personál zajištující provoz. V dnešní době nabízí zimní stadion dvě ledové plochy (velkou a malou). K dispozici je celkem 17 hokejových kabin se sociálním zařízením a dalších 5 kabin bez sociálního zařízení. Návštěvníci veřejného bruslení mohou také využít uzamykatelné skříňky i službu broušení bruslí.
Zimní stadion slouží především pro sportující chebskou veřejnost. Své zázemí zde má místní hokejový klub, oddíl krasobruslení, obě ledové plochy využívají k výuce bruslení školy i školky a v neposlední řadě zde působí amatérské hokejové organizace. Zimní stadion je také možné využít pro pořádání různých společenských a kulturních akcí, autosalónů, workshopů atd. Kapacita zimního stadionu je 1524 míst k sezení a v případě pořádání kulturní a společenské akce dalších 700 míst k stání na ploše.
Na Zimním stadionu v Chebu se v roce 2019 realizovala rekonstrukce osvětlovací soustavy. Zařízení firmy AMiT je použito jako nadstavba pro kompletní sběr dat, ovládaní pomocí dotykového panelu a vzdálenou správu webserveru a vizualizace řízení osvětlení.
