Představte si, že se připojíte k panelovému počítači řady APT401xAT pomocí vašeho webového prohlížeče. Dostanete se přímo do vývojového prostředí v panelovém počítači a začnete on-line definovat jeho funkčnost a vizualizaci. I přes to, že konfiguraci vámi navržených vizualizačních obrazovek provedete pouze jedenkrát, budou obrazovky (ve stejné podobě) k dispozici jak na displeji panelového počítače, tak prostřednictvím webového prohlížeče v podobě samostatné vizualizace pro uživatele u vzdáleného PC. Nepotřebujete instalovat žádné vývojové prostředí – konfigurační údaje jsou uchovány v panelovém počítači. Kdykoliv budete potřebovat udělat změnu, tak se velmi jednoduše odkudkoliv připojíte prostřednictvím webového prohlížeče a změnu provedete. Vše lze realizovat, bez jakékoliv znalosti programování webových technologií, dokonce za chodu zařízení, bez nutnosti jeho vypnutí nebo výpadku zobrazení na displeji kvůli uploadu aplikace. Aplikační data si samozřejmě můžete odzálohovat na svůj počítač. To je ve stručnosti popis nového vývojového a vizualizačního prostředí TouchDet.
Nabízíme samozřejmě i variantu vývoje aplikace off-line – v tomto případě si již musíte nainstalovat TouchDet na svůj počítač. Svou aplikaci si můžete připravit v klidu bez nutnosti připojení k panelovému počítači a nahrát ji kdykoliv později po instalaci zařízení pomocí webového prohlížeče.
