Místo realizace: Králíky, ul. MoravskáVybudování nové plynové kotelny spočívalo v osazení 2 ks nových teplovodních kondenzačních kotlů o výkonu 390 kW a v instalaci nové kogenerační jednotky (KGJ) o tepelném výkonu 253 kW a el. výkonu 200 kW, nového kombinovaného rozdělovače-sběrače a dalšího technologického příslušenství. Kotelna o celkovém jmenovitém tepelném výkonu 1 033 kW vytápí objekty ZŠ, jídelny ZŠ, ZUŠ a MŠ. V návaznosti na instalaci technologického zařízení bylo provedeno napojení teplovodních rozvodů a osazení nového HVDT. Teplovodní topná soustava je jištěna expanzním automatem s 300 l doplňovací nádobou a expanzní nádobou o objemu 800 l. Celý systém je doplněný úpravnou vody s demineralizační kolonou s konduktometrem. Jedná se o plynovou kotelnu II. kategorie.
Návrh energeticky úsporného opatření zahrnuje nahrazení současného způsobu vytápění pomocí dosluhujících plynových kotlů novým způsobem vytápěním pomocí moderních plynových kotlů a KGJ. Vyrobená elektrické energie z KGJ pokrývá významnou část vlastní spotřeby elektřiny napájených objektů s minimálním přetokem do distribuční sítě. Vyrobené teplo je pomocí nově vybudovaných venkovních rozvodů dodáváno do 8 ks nových objektových předávacích stanic (OPS) v dotčených objektech (5x pavilon ZŠ, 1x jídelna ZŠ, 1x ZUŠ a 1x MŠ) .
Provoz kotelny je možné ovládat a dozorovat nejenom prostřednictvím obslužného panelu řídicího systému v rozvaděči MaR, ale také prostřednictvím centrálního dispečinku (SCADA Promotic), který je umístěný v objektu provozovatele CZT, což jsou Služby města Králíky.
